Mahindra Finance disbursements are estimated at approximately Rs 16,490 crore for Q2 FY27, up around 22% year-on-year, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd said in a BSE filing dated October 2, 2026. The company also reported higher business assets and improved collection efficiency in its quarterly business update.

For the first half of FY27, estimated disbursements stood at approximately Rs 32,050 crore, representing growth of around 22% over the corresponding period a year earlier. The filing specifies that the disbursement growth figures exclude finance lease. Both the quarterly and half-year figures therefore indicate a similar pace of year-on-year expansion.

Business assets stood at approximately Rs 1,46,300 crore, about 15% higher than in September 2025. The company presented these operating figures as part of its Q2 FY27 update to the stock exchanges.

Collection efficiency improves; Stage-2 estimate declines

Estimated collection efficiency increased to 97% in Q2 FY27 from 96% in Q2 FY26, an improvement of one percentage point. The filing also provided September-end estimates for Stage-3 and Stage-2 asset levels, alongside comparisons with June 2026 and September 2025.

  • Stage-3 was estimated at 3.35%–3.45% as at September 30, 2026, compared with 3.45% on June 30, 2026, and 3.94% on September 30, 2025.
  • Stage-2 was estimated at 4.7%–4.8% as at September 30, 2026, against 4.9% on June 30, 2026, and 5.8% on September 30, 2025.

The entire September Stage-3 estimated range was below the year-earlier level, while its upper end matched the June figure. The Stage-2 range was below both comparison periods. These figures remain estimates, with the company reporting ranges rather than single September-end percentages.
