Mumbai, 5th July 2025: Bank of Baroda, one of India’s top public sector banks, has claimed the 1st runner-up spot in the overall rankings for the Top Performing Banks category in the EASE 7.0 Reforms Index. The bank excelled in several reform areas. It was ranked #1 in two categories: Adoption of new technology and other capabilities, and Developing employees for emerging banking needs. It also ranked #3 in Effective risk and fraud management, collections and recovery, and Banking towards Viksit Bharat themes.
 
 
Shri Debadatta Chand, the MD & CEO of Bank of Baroda, received the recognition alongside the bank’s Executive Directors, Shri Sanjay Mudaliar, Shri Lal Singh, and Smt. Beena Vaheed.
