
Mumbai, September 22, 2025 – IndusInd Bank Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Viral Damania as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel, effective immediately. The decision was approved by the Bank’s Board of Directors during a meeting held today.
Following this appointment, Mr. Santosh Kumar, who was serving as Special Officer – Finance & Accounts, will cease to hold the additional responsibilities and his categorization as a Key Managerial Person. He will, however, continue in his role as Deputy CFO of the Bank.
Mr. Viral Damania brings with him over 27 years of extensive experience in banking and professional services. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, and Cost & Works Accountant, and also holds an ISACA certification in Information Systems Audit and Control.
Prior to joining IndusInd Bank, Mr. Damania served as the CFO for Bank of America India, overseeing both the Bank branch entity and BofA Securities India Ltd. He was also a member of the country leadership team and a non-executive director on the board of BofA Securities India Ltd. Earlier in his career, he gained international exposure working with Citibank N.A. in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, and with Price Waterhouse Coopers.
The Bank has shared this update with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), and Luxembourg Stock Exchange, in line with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The announcement is also available on IndusInd Bank’s official website.
