Bank of Baroda with CERSAI conducted an awareness program on Central KYC Record Registry in Ahmedabad on 15 Sept 2025. The event guided RBI regulated entities on enhancing KYC processes and improving customer experience.

Bank of Baroda, in collaboration with CERSAI, organized an awareness program on the Central KYC Record Registry (CKYCRR) in Ahmedabad on 15.09.2025. The event brought together RBI-regulated entities from Gujarat, with the goal of enhancing their understanding of CKYCRR’s role in streamlining Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and improving the overall customer experience.

The session was led by Shri Umesh Kumar Singh, Central Registrar & MD & CEO of CERSAI, and featured notable speakers including Shri Prabhat Sharma, Chief General Manager & Chief Operating Officer of Bank of Baroda, Shri Balasubramaniam Elango, Chief General Manager & Chief Group Compliance Officer of Bank of Baroda, Shri Viren Mohan, DGM-DOR at RBI Central Office, Shri Gaurav Singh, Deputy Director at FIU India, Shri Sudhanshu Kumar Singh, General Manager (Operations) at Bank of Baroda, and Shri V. P. Singh, Dy. General Manager at CERSAI.

This collaboration aims to empower financial institutions and SLBC member banks in Gujarat with the knowledge necessary to fully leverage CKYCRR for a more efficient and transparent KYC process.
