National Fertilizers dividend 2026: The state-owned fertiliser producer said in a BSE filing on August 12, 2026, that its board had recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.04 per equity share for FY 2025-26. The payout represents 10.40% of the Rs 10 face value and remains subject to shareholder approval at the company’s 52nd Annual General Meeting.
National Fertilizers Ltd (NFL) fixed September 14, 2026, as the record date for determining shareholders eligible for the final dividend. If approved at the AGM, the company said the dividend would be paid on or before October 21, 2026.
Standalone Q1 profit returns to positive territory
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, NFL reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs 4,500.39 crore, up 27.3% from Rs 3,534.17 crore in the corresponding quarter a year earlier. Standalone net profit was Rs 70.91 crore, compared with a net loss of Rs 32.10 crore in the year-ago quarter.

On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations was Rs 4,500.39 crore and total income stood at Rs 4,511.82 crore. Consolidated profit before tax reached Rs 137.81 crore, against a loss of Rs 52.08 crore a year earlier, while net profit after tax was Rs 113.38 crore versus a loss of Rs 39.44 crore.
Auditors highlight subsidy recognition
The statutory auditors drew attention to Rs 13.41 crore of subsidy income recognised on sales of certain DAP and TSP closing stock, based on Department of Fertilizers operational guidelines. They also highlighted Rs 117 crore of subsidy income relating to FY 2025-26, recognised during the June 2026 quarter following the notification fixing New Energy Norms.
For the consolidated results, the auditors also noted prior-period corrections at joint venture Assam Valley Fertilizer and Chemical Company Ltd. NFL’s share of net profit and total comprehensive income from three joint ventures was Rs 42.47 crore; those interim results were reviewed by other auditors or an independent chartered accountant. The auditors said their conclusions were not modified in respect of the stated matters.
