Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited (MECL), under the Ministry of Mines, has partnered with the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance geochemical analysis of Rare Earth Elements (REE), critical minerals, and trace elements. The collaboration allows IBM to utilize MECL’s advanced laboratory facilities to support key national mineral projects. The MoU was signed by MECL CMD Shri Indra Dev Narayan and IBM Controller General (I/c) Shri P.N. Sharma in the presence of senior officials from both organizations. This strategic initiative is expected to boost scientific exploration and encourage sustainable utilization of India's mineral resources.
