Sugs Lloyd Secures Power Grid Modernization Contract from Gujarat's DGVCL

NEW DELHI, [September 23, 2025] – Sugs Lloyd Limited, a leading diversified EPC Power Company, announced today that it has been awarded a turnkey contract valued at Rs 85.45 lakh from Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL), a prominent power distribution utility in Gujarat.

The project is focused on modernizing DGVCL's distribution network through the supply, installation, and commissioning of advanced Fault Passage Indicators (FPIs). This technology is designed to be deployed across the utility's 7 KV to 13 KV overhead lines to enhance grid resilience, reduce outage times, and improve operational efficiency.

The contract marks a significant step in Sugs Lloyd's strategic expansion within Gujarat, a key growth market for India's power infrastructure. The deployment of FPIs will enable real-time fault detection and location, directly addressing utility challenges by minimizing revenue losses from prolonged outages and boosting consumer satisfaction. The project is scheduled for completion within two months of mobilization.
