CONCOR and GAIL Partner to Build LNG Infrastructure for Green Logistics

Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) and GAIL (India) Ltd have entered into a strategic agreement to develop LNG infrastructure across CONCOR’s terminals. This collaboration is aimed at promoting sustainable and green logistics by ensuring reliable LNG fuel supply for road transport operations.
First LNG Station at Khodiyar Terminal
As part of this initiative, the first LNG fueling station will be established at CONCOR’s Khodiyar terminal in Ahmedabad, setting the groundwork for a broader rollout across the country.
Strategic MoU Signed in New Delhi
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on April 23, 2025, in New Delhi. Present at the signing were CONCOR CMD Sanjay Swarup and GAIL Director (Marketing) Sanjay Kumar, along with other senior officials. The agreement was formally signed by CONCOR’s GGM (P&S) Ahmed Wasi Khan and GAIL’s ED (Marketing – Retail LNG) Kapil Kumar Jain.
A Push Toward Sustainable Transport
