J&K Bank business reached Rs 3,10,347 crore as of September 30, 2026, rising 19.38% year-on-year, according to provisional figures disclosed in a BSE filing on October 3, 2026. Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd reported growth in deposits and gross advances, while its current account and savings account (CASA) ratio declined.

Total business, which includes deposits and gross advances, increased from Rs 2,59,973 crore a year earlier. The bank had reported total business of Rs 2,90,335 crore at the end of March 2026. The September figures therefore also showed an increase over the financial year-end position.

The bank said the latest numbers are provisional and subject to audit or review. Its September 2025 comparative figures were reviewed, while the March 2026 figures were audited.

Advances grow faster than deposits

Gross advances rose 23.72% year-on-year to Rs 1,33,551 crore, compared with Rs 1,07,943 crore on September 30, 2025. Advances also stood above the Rs 1,24,981 crore reported on March 31, 2026.

Total deposits increased 16.29% to Rs 1,76,796 crore from Rs 1,52,030 crore a year earlier. The corresponding audited figure at the end of March 2026 was Rs 1,65,354 crore.

The other reported balances showed different movements against the two comparison dates:

  • CASA deposits reached Rs 74,277 crore, up 6.45% from Rs 69,774 crore a year earlier, but below Rs 75,478 crore at March-end.
  • Gross investment stood at Rs 46,052 crore, rising 2.25% from Rs 45,040 crore a year earlier and exceeding the March-end figure of Rs 41,319 crore.

CASA share declines despite annual balance growth

The CASA ratio fell 388 basis points to 42.01% from 45.89% in September 2025. It was also lower than the 45.65% reported at the end of March 2026.

Although CASA deposits increased year-on-year, their 6.45% growth trailed the 16.29% expansion in total deposits, leaving them with a smaller share of the deposit base.
