Madhya Pradesh has received official approval for the RS 2,100 crore PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park, marking a major milestone for the state’s industrial development.

Approved by the Union Ministry of Textiles, the park will be India’s first of its kind, according to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. He emphasized that the initiative will significantly boost both the state’s economy and India’s textile industry at a global level.

Covering an area of 2,100 acres, the park is expected to draw substantial investment and generate extensive employment opportunities within the state. It will be equipped with modern infrastructure, including a 20 MLD Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant, a solar-powered energy unit, and plug-and-play Built-To-Suit (BTS) facilities.

To support workers, residential complexes will also be developed, ensuring complete ecosystem support for the workforce. The construction is slated for completion in 14 months.

Land allotment applications for the park will open soon, with investment proposals worth RS 10,000 crore already received, reflecting strong industrial interest.

The PM MITRA Park will be situated in Bhainsola village, Badnawar tehsil, Dhar district. Strategically positioned, it lies about 110 km from Indore, 85 km from the Pithampur industrial hub, and 50 km from the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway via Ratlam. The nearest port, Hazira, is located 452 km away.

This ambitious project is expected to play a key role in energizing India’s textile manufacturing capabilities, offering livelihood to lakhs and strengthening Madhya Pradesh's position in the industrial sector.
