Northern Railway GM Inaugurates Advanced Medical Facilities at Delhi Divisional Hospital

Sh. Ashok Kumar Verma, General Manager of Northern Railway, inaugurated several upgraded healthcare facilities at the Northern Railway Divisional Hospital in Delhi. The enhancements include two state-of-the-art Ultrasonography (USG) machines and a fully air-conditioned pharmacy equipped with a dedicated registration counter to streamline medical examinations for both employees and candidates.

Accompanying him at the event were Dr. Jagdish Chandra, Principal Chief Medical Director (PCMD/NR), Sh. Pushpesh Tripathi, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM/Delhi), and Dr. Asha Ranu, Chief Medical Superintendent (CMS/Delhi).

As part of the modernization efforts, a revamped Eye Department was also inaugurated, now featuring cutting-edge diagnostic equipment, a dark room for specialized examinations, and a lush green landscaped area. In line with the hospital's commitment to environmental sustainability, saplings were also planted during the occasion.
