State-run NBCC Ltd. has won a contract worth 172.5 crore rupees from UCO Bank to construct a high-rise head office in Kolkata’s New Town with a green building rating. Financially, NBCC reported a 29.4 percent increase in net profit, reaching 176 crore rupees for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025, compared to 136 crore rupees in the same period last year.

Revenue grew by 16.2 percent to 4,642.5 crore rupees from 3,996.3 crore rupees. Operating profit, measured by EBITDA, rose 19.3 percent to 290 crore rupees, with the EBITDA margin slightly improving to 6.25 percent from 6.09 percent. NBCC shares are currently trading 0.53 percent lower at 121.60 rupees, but the stock has gained over 30 percent this year.
