MOIL Revises Manganese Ore Prices for Q2 FY2025 Effective July 1
MOIL Limited revises the prices of various grades of Manganese Ore, increasing select Ferro and Chemical grades by 2% from July 1, 2025, while others remain unchanged.

Nagpur, July 1, 2025 – MOIL Limited, a Government of India enterprise and the country's largest producer of manganese ore, announced revised prices for different grades of manganese ore effective from July 1, 2025, for the second quarter of FY2025 (July to September). The revisions were disclosed in line with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, and are applicable across select product categories.
As per the official notification, the prices of key grades of manganese ore have been revised as follows:

Ferro Grades (Mn ≥ 44%) – Prices increased by 2% over the previous rates effective since June 1, 2025.

Ferro Grades (Mn < 44%) – Similarly, these grades also see a 2% price increase.

SMGR (Mn 30% & Mn 25%) and Fines Grades – Prices remain unchanged and will continue as fixed on June 1, 2025.

Metal Mandi Fines (UKF532, DBF575, MSF592) and SMGR (Mn 20%) – No changes in prices; existing rates will prevail.

Chemical Grades – Prices increased by 2% from the June 2025 levels.

Basic Price of Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD) – Remains unchanged at RS 205,000 per metric ton.
These price adjustments reflect MOIL’s continued alignment with market conditions and cost structures. The move to increase prices for higher-grade Ferro and Chemical grades by 2% indicates a favorable demand outlook and strategic pricing decision for value-added grades.
The revised prices take effect from midnight of June 30, 2025, and apply to all transactions during the month of July 2025 and until further revisions.
