Mumbai – Ircon International Limited has received a major contract from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for Package-2 of Line-6 of the Mumbai Metro Rail Project. The scope includes design, supply, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of power supply and traction systems, E&M works, lifts, and escalators.

The work pertains to the metro corridor connecting Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli (Eastern Express Highway) and includes five years of comprehensive maintenance following a two-year defect liability period.
