Bharat Electronics Limited BEL a leading defence public sector undertaking has announced that it has received new orders worth 537 crore since its previous update on 16 May 2025

The fresh contracts include a wide range of defence technologies such as communication equipment advanced shipborne composite communication systems jammers software simulator upgrades spares and test rigs These additions further enhance BELs capabilities in strategic and operational defence electronics

As of 1 April 2025 the companys total order book stood at 71650 crore reflecting strong execution visibility and demand for its defence solutions

This announcement comes shortly after BELs robust financial performance in the fourth quarter of FY25 The company reported a consolidated net profit of 2127 crore marking an 184 percent increase year on year and exceeding market expectations Revenue from operations rose to 91496 crore a 68 percent growth compared to the same period last year

BELs board has also recommended a final dividend of 090 per equity share pending shareholder approval

On the stock market shares of Bharat Electronics closed at 38990 on Wednesday gaining 104 percent on the BSE
