BEL orders worth Rs 541 crore have been secured by Bharat Electronics Limited, the Navratna defence public sector undertaking informed the stock exchanges through a BSE filing on August 10, 2026. The additional orders have been received since the company’s previous disclosure on July 31, 2026.

The Bengaluru-headquartered Government of India enterprise, operating under the Ministry of Defence, submitted a press release with its regulatory disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015. The filing identified several equipment, system and service categories covered by the latest order intake.

Equipment and systems covered by the orders

According to the filing, the orders span a mix of defence equipment, specialised systems, supplies and support services. Bharat Electronics listed the following categories:

  • Communication equipment
  • Electro optics
  • Ammunition fuzes
  • Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear systems
  • Spares and services

CBRN systems are designed for requirements involving chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear environments. The disclosure groups these systems with communication equipment, electro-optical products, ammunition fuzes and associated support requirements.

BEL described the Rs 541 crore figure as the value of additional orders secured after its July 31 disclosure. The announcement did not provide an individual value for each order category or disclose customer names, delivery schedules and other contractual terms.

Disclosure filed with the exchanges

Bharat Electronics filed the announcement with BSE, where the company’s scrip code is 500049, and with the National Stock Exchange of India under the symbol BEL. The filing was signed by Company Secretary S Sreenivas and included the company’s press release on the order receipts.

The disclosure records the latest order value and the product and service categories involved. It does not provide guidance on revenue recognition, margins or the financial periods in which the orders may be executed. The reported amount should therefore be read as additional order intake disclosed by BEL rather than revenue booked during a specified reporting period.
