New Delhi, August 6, 2025 — The Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has officially deputed Shri Atul, IRSE, to the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. This decision was conveyed through an official communication issued from Rail Bhawan on August 6, 2025.
As per the deputation order, Shri Atul — who currently serves as Sr. DEN/Coord/UMB, Northern Railway — has been selected for the post of GGM/CPM (Civil) in NCRTC. The deputation will be on usual terms, including parent pay plus deputation allowance.
The order further directs that Shri Atul be relieved to take up his new assignment promptly, and that the date of relief be communicated to the Board’s office.
In a related continuation order, the Ministry also confirmed that Shri Atul shall be deemed to have been relieved on the date of expiry of his previous deputation period, unless extended by competent authority. Based on requisite approvals, his deputation period has now been extended up to the date of its expiry as per DoP&T’s Office Memorandum No. 2/6/2023-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 22.03.2023.
This movement highlights the continued focus on deploying experienced and skilled railway officers to key infrastructure projects like the NCRTC, which is spearheading high-speed regional rail development across the National Capital Region.
