New Delhi – The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB), under the Department of Personnel & Training, has recommended Shri Saumitra Priya Srivastava for the position of Director (Marketing) at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). The selection was made during PESB Meeting No. 59/2025 held at 11:30 AM on July 14, 2025.

Shri Srivastava currently serves as Executive Director – Corporate Strategy at IOCL. He was chosen from a pool of 12 distinguished candidates, including senior officials from IOCL, BPCL, GAIL, NTPC, and Container Corporation of India.

The shortlisted candidates included:

  • Shri Jitendra Kumar, ED and State Head, IOCL

  • Shri Biju Gopinath, ED (Pipelines), BPCL

  • Dr. Alok Badkul, ED & CEO, FHEL, CONCOR

  • Shri Girija Shankar, MD, Green Gas Ltd, GAIL

  • Shri Jatinderjit Singh Mann, AGM (Marketing/Consultancy), NTPC

The appointment is part of IOCL’s ongoing leadership enhancement initiative in its marketing division and is subject to formal approval and appointment by the concerned authorities.
