In a key appointment for India's energy sector, the Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Shri Rajesh Pratap Singh Sisodia for the role of Director (Planning & Projects) at NLC India Limited. The selection was finalized during PESB Meeting No. 64/2025 held on July 22 at 3:30 PM.

The board evaluated twelve top-level executives from leading PSUs across India. Candidates included senior officials from NLC India, NHPC, NTPC, BHEL, Engineers India Limited, and Damodar Valley Corporation. After a rigorous interview process, Shri Sisodia — currently serving as Executive Director of the New and Renewable Business Group at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) — was chosen for his strategic acumen and experience in driving energy transition.

His appointment is expected to enhance NLC’s focus on future-facing energy projects and long-term planning initiatives.
