New Delhi – Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG), has announced the appointment of Shri Vikas Singh as Government Nominee Director on its Board. The appointment took effect as per letters dated June 19 and June 24, 2025.

In compliance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company submitted Singh’s brief profile to both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE.

An officer of the Indian Revenue Service (2007 batch), Shri Vikas Singh currently serves as Director (GP-I) in MoPNG. His academic qualifications include:

  • Graduation in English (Hons.) from Hansraj College, Delhi University

  • Management studies from IRMA, Anand

  • Master’s in Business Law and Taxation from NALSAR University

  • LL.B from Law Centre-I, Delhi University

Over his career, Singh has held roles in the Income Tax Department, Investigation Wing, Enforcement Directorate, and the Central Board of Direct Taxes, offering a rich blend of legal, enforcement, and policy experience.

OIL confirmed that Singh is not related to any Board member and is not disqualified under any SEBI or legal provisions.
