New Delhi. Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR), a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Railways, has appointed Shri Niraj Kumar as Group General Manager of Projects and Services. He started with the company on deputation for three years, effective July 9, 2025.
 
This appointment follows Order No. 51/2025, issued on July 15, 2025. It was shared through official filings with BSE and NSE, in line with Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.

Shri Niraj Kumar is from the 2001 batch of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) and has 22 years of field and policy experience. Before this role, he was Executive Director for Bridge and Structures in the Railway Board. He also held positions such as Senior Divisional Engineer for Coordination at Moradabad, Deputy Chief Engineer at USBRL, and Senior Divisional Engineer-II at Ferozepur.
 
CONCOR views this appointment as a strategic step to strengthen its project execution skills by bringing in experienced leadership from Indian Railways.
