Bengaluru. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna public sector company under the Ministry of Defence, has appointed Ms. Meera Mohanty as Part-Time Official Director (Government Nominee Director) on its Board, starting July 16, 2025.
 
 
This change follows the withdrawal of Mr. Rajeev Prakash's nomination, as he ceased to hold the position on the same date. The change meets Regulation 30(2) of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR), 2015. Regulatory filings shared this information with BSE and NSE.
 
Ms. Mohanty, who has the Director Identification Number (DIN) 03379561, takes over for Mr. Prakash (DIN 08590061) on the BEL Board. She offers a new perspective on the company’s governance.
