Manoj Kumar Singh, currently serving as the Chief Electrical Engineer (Loco) at Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW), Varanasi, has been selected for deputation to Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL). He will take charge as the General Manager (Electrical) at the RVNL office in Nagpur.

Mr. Singh is an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) and brings extensive experience in railway electrification and locomotive operations. His deputation is for a period of five years, during which he will oversee major electrical infrastructure and development projects under RVNL.

His appointment is expected to strengthen RVNL's operational capabilities in the Nagpur region, which is witnessing rapid infrastructure expansion
