GIC Housing Finance management change: The company appointed Shri S.R. Ravi, Vice President, as Head of its Operations Department and a Senior Management Personnel with effect from August 21, 2026, according to a BSE filing made on Friday.

The Board of Directors approved the appointment through a circular resolution, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The housing finance company disclosed the development under Regulations 30 and 51 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.

Paba Koshy continues as Chief Financial Officer

Following Ravi's appointment, Smt. Paba Koshy will cease to serve as Head of the Operations Department. The filing clarified that she will continue as the company's Chief Financial Officer.

Ravi is a housing finance professional with more than 33 years of experience. He joined the organisation on March 18, 1993, as a Junior Executive at its Chennai branch and has worked across Chennai, Trichy, Bhubaneswar and the Corporate Office.

  • His roles have covered branch management, underwriting, marketing, credit, collections and administration.
  • He served as Head of the Chennai branch between 2001 and 2005.
  • His experience includes end-to-end housing finance operations, credit and recovery management, SARFAESI enforcement proceedings, and litigation support before the High Court, DRT and DRAT.

Experience across administration and governance

The company said Ravi also contributed to organisational administration by developing a pan-India database of office premises. As a member of the Provident Fund Trustee Committee, he has overseen provident fund administration, investments, statutory audits and governance compliance.

GIC Housing Finance stated that the term of appointment was not applicable. It also marked disclosures regarding relationships between directors as not applicable. The filing recorded the event's occurrence at 2 pm on August 21, 2026, and was submitted to BSE at 3:31 pm.
