New Delhi – Engineers India Limited (EIL), a public sector engineering consultancy under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG), has appointed Shri Kapil Verma as Director (Government Nominee) on its Board, effective June 19, 2025.

The appointment follows official approval from the MoPNG vide letter dated June 19, 2025, and was confirmed by EIL's Board via a circular resolution on June 23, 2025. His nomination will be valid for a three-year period, co-terminus with other terms or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Shri Verma currently serves as Director (Refinery & Admin) at MoPNG. An officer of the Indian Defence Service of Engineers (IDSE), 2004 batch, he brings notable expertise in administration, refinery operations, IT and cyber security, and public service mandates. He also holds prior board-level experience with Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Ltd. and Bharat PetroResources Ltd.

EIL has confirmed that Shri Verma is not related to any existing board member, nor is he barred from directorship by SEBI or any authority.

The company has submitted the necessary disclosures to BSE and NSE in compliance with SEBI’s LODR Regulations, 2015.
