New Delhi – Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has announced key changes in its senior management, effective from June 25, 2025. The appointments come following the superannuation of two Executive Directors on June 24.

Shri Dipesh Palit has been appointed as General Manager and Head of Power Sector – Technical Services (PS-TS), Noida, reporting to the Director (Power). A B.E. graduate in Electronics & Communication, Palit has served BHEL for 33 years since joining on July 9, 1992.

Shri Heeralal Bharani takes charge as General Manager and Head of Corporate Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Noida, reporting to the Director (HR). With a B.E. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance, Bharani also brings 33 years of experience since his joining on February 3, 1993.

These appointments fill the positions vacated by Shri Jagat Singh, Executive Director (PS-TS), and Shri Sanjay Dayaram Goswami, Executive Director (HSE), both of whom retired on June 24, 2025.
