The Public Enterprise Selection Board has recommended Shri Ashutosh Dwivedi for the post of Director (Technical), Northern Coalfields Limited (Schedule B) company. The selection was made during the meeting held on May 28, 2025. Currently, he serves as the Executive Director (Safety & Rescue) at Coal India Ltd.

The current Director (Technical) of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) is Shri Sunil Prasad Singh. He assumed the role on July 4, 2023. Before taking over as Director (Technical), he served as General Manager of the Krishnashila Area at NCL.

Northern Coalfields Limited is a Government of India undertaking and one of the flagship subsidiaries of the largest-producing PSU Coal India Ltd.
