NTPC Initiative Brings Job Opportunities to Rural Youth, Ignites New Hope
In an impressive move under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, NTPC Unchahar brought joy and new hope to the rural youth in nearby villages by creating job opportunities. When the job offer letters were given out, the young beneficiaries beamed with happiness and sincere gratitude for NTPC's life-changing support.

As part of the program, 30 young men and women from villages near the NTPC Unchahar project received six months of skill development training in Plastic Processing through the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET). After the training, the candidates found jobs in respected companies across India, paving the way for stable employment and self-sufficiency.

To celebrate this success, a ceremony was held at NTPC Unchahar. The beneficiaries received their offer letters and training certificates from Executive Director Shri Abhay Kumar Srivastava and President of Priyadarshini Ladies Club, Smt. Anupama Srivastava. The event was attended by General Managers, Department Heads, Union and Association Leaders, and local village heads.

During the event, Shri Abhay Kumar Srivastava wished the newly employed youth well and encouraged them to contribute fully to their organizations, making both themselves and NTPC proud.

K.P. Singh, Head of the Skill Development Division at CIPET, shared inspiring insights about the training program and praised NTPC for its dedicated efforts to create rural employment.

Village heads and employee representatives also spoke at the gathering and wished the beneficiaries a successful and self-reliant future. Senior Manager (CSR) Mrs. Sneha Tripathi coordinated the event, and Deputy General Manager Shri Vinayak Prakash Shaw delivered the vote of thanks.

This initiative shows NTPC’s strong commitment to social improvement and sustainable development in the communities surrounding its projects.
