Suryoday Small Finance Bank disclosed the retirement of independent director John Diaz and the resignation of company secretary Krishna Chaturvedi.

Suryoday Small Finance Bank management change: The bank informed exchanges in a BSE filing dated August 9, 2026, that independent director John Arunkumar Diaz has retired, while company secretary and compliance officer Krishna Kant Chaturvedi has resigned to pursue career opportunities outside the organisation.
Diaz, a Non-Executive Independent Director, completed his second term at the close of business hours on August 8, 2026. He ceased to hold office with effect from August 9, 2026, after attaining the age of 75 years.
The bank said the retirement was in accordance with the Banking Regulation Act, 1949, read with relevant circulars issued by the Reserve Bank of India. Diaz's Director Identification Number is 00493304.
Company secretary to leave on August 11
Krishna Kant Chaturvedi has resigned as the bank's Company Secretary and Compliance Officer under SEBI regulations, as well as from his position as Key Managerial Personnel. His resignation will take effect from the close of business hours on August 11, 2026.
The exchange disclosure stated that Chaturvedi is leaving to pursue career opportunities outside Suryoday Small Finance Bank. His resignation letter was attached as an annexure to the regulatory intimation.
