RBL Bank EMTN Programme was approved by the board of RBL Bank Limited at its meeting held on September 7, 2026, the lender said in a BSE filing. The programme has been established in accordance with Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act, 1933, subject to required regulatory, statutory and other approvals.

The board’s decision enables the bank to raise funds through permissible modes under the proposed Euro Medium Term Note Programme.

Future foreign-currency issuance

Under the approval, RBL Bank may issue foreign-currency bonds, notes or other debt securities of up to US$1 billion. The securities may be issued from time to time through one or more transactions, subject to market conditions, regulatory compliance and applicable laws.

  • The issuance may comprise bonds, notes or other debt securities.
  • RBL Bank said the securities will not be offered or sold to investors in India.

The board also delegated certain powers and authorities to the bank’s Borrowing Committee to decide and undertake actions connected with the EMTN Programme and the proposed issuance of securities.

According to the filing, the board meeting began at 12:30 pm IST and concluded at 12:54 pm IST on September 7, 2026.
