Kotak Mahindra Bank ESOP grant: The private-sector lender granted an aggregate of 3,47,410 employee stock options to eligible employees on August 17, 2026, according to a BSE filing made the same day.

The options were granted by the bank’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee under the Kotak Mahindra Equity Option Scheme, 2023. The grant forms Series 12 of the scheme and will vest in four equal tranches of 25% each.

Kotak Mahindra Bank submitted the disclosure pursuant to Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Vesting schedule and exercise period

The first 25% tranche is scheduled to vest on August 31, 2027. The remaining three tranches, each representing 25% of the grant, are due to vest on June 30 in 2028, 2029 and 2030.

Equity entitlement under the grant

Each employee stock option entitles the grantee to one equity share with a face value of Re 1, subject to the scheme’s provisions. On that basis, the entire grant covers entitlements linked to 3,47,410 equity shares if the options vest and are exercised in accordance with the scheme.

The bank addressed the intimation to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited. Its listed identifiers in the filing included BSE scrip code 500247 and NSE symbol KOTAKBANK, alongside identifiers for other listed securities.

Kotak Mahindra Bank also said the disclosure was being made available in the SEBI listing disclosures section of its investor-relations website. Company Secretary Avan Doomasia signed the exchange communication dated August 17, 2026.
