Equitas Small Finance Bank Credit Rating Reaffirmed by CARE Ratings
CARE Ratings reaffirmed Equitas Small Finance Bank’s CARE AA- Stable issuer and Lower Tier II ratings, while its ₹1,500 crore CDs retain CARE A1+.

Equitas Small Finance Bank credit rating has been reaffirmed by CARE Ratings Limited, the bank said in a BSE filing on September 8, 2026. The rating agency retained the bank’s issuer rating at CARE AA-; Stable, following its review of operational and financial performance for FY26 (audited) and Q1FY27 (provisional).
The bank informed the exchanges that it received CARE Ratings’ letters dated September 7, 2026. The reaffirmation covers the issuer rating, two Lower Tier II bond issues and its Certificate of Deposit programme.

The two Lower Tier II instruments are identified by ISINs INE063P08112 and INE063P08120. CARE Ratings’ review letter states that an issuer rating is an opinion on the company’s general creditworthiness and is not specific to a particular debt instrument.
CARE Ratings said its ratings are subject to periodic surveillance and may be revised, reaffirmed or withdrawn based on events or information considered relevant by the agency. It also noted that ratings do not constitute recommendations to buy, sell or hold securities.
Equitas Small Finance Bank disclosed the rating actions under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
