DCB Bank capital infusion report: Lender says no material disclosure pending
DCB Bank told BSE it has no undisclosed material event after the exchange sought clarification on a report about talks for capital infusion.

DCB Bank Limited on August 26, 2026, told BSE that no material event or information currently requires disclosure after the exchange sought clarification on a news report about talks with private equity firms for capital infusion. The bank submitted its response through a BSE filing under the applicable provisions of Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.
BSE had referred to a news item titled “DCB Bank in talks with PE firms for capital infusion, reports CNBC-TV18; shares rise 5.5%”. The exchange asked whether negotiations were taking place, whether any undisclosed information could explain the trading movement, and whether regulatory or legal proceedings were involved.
Bank points to shareholder approval for fundraising
In its clarification, DCB Bank said it evaluates various strategic and other opportunities from time to time in the ordinary course of business. It also referred to its disclosure dated July 3, 2026, under which shareholders had passed resolutions enabling the bank to raise funds through various modes.
The lender did not disclose details of any negotiation, counterparty, proposed amount, fundraising structure or timeline in its response. It stated that, as of the filing date, there was no material event or information requiring disclosure under Regulation 30.

DCB Bank reiterates disclosure obligations
The bank said it remained conscious of its obligations under the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015. It reiterated that no material event or information warranted a Regulation 30 disclosure as of August 26.
DCB Bank added that it would continue making appropriate disclosures and promptly comply with the Listing Regulations. The clarification was signed by Rubi Chaturvedi, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, and addressed to both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited. DCB Bank trades under BSE scrip code 532772 and NSE symbol DCBBANK.
