Bank of Baroda signs an MoU with the Government of Tamil Nadu to offer customised Salary Accounts for State Government employees. The agreement was signed by Shri T.N. Suresh, General Manager & Zonal Head, Chennai Zone and Shri Sreenivas Ravipati, Dy. General Manager, Chennai Zone in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Shri M.K. Stalin; Shri Thangam Thennarasu, Hon'ble Finance Minister; Smt. T Charusree, IAS, Commissioner of Treasury & Accounts; Shri N Muruganandam, IAS, Chief Secretary; and Shri T Udhayachandran, Principal Secretary, Finance Department.
The Bank of Baroda's specially designed State Government Salary Accounts will provide exclusive benefits such as Personal Accident Insurance up to ₹1.55 crore, Term Life Insurance of ₹15 lakh, Permanent Total Disability Cover of ₹1 crore, and a daily Hospicash Facility of ₹2,000—ensuring strong financial protection for government employees across Tamil Nadu.
