Defence Minister Rajnath Singh holds strategic meeting with CDS, Tri-Services Chiefs at South Block

New Delhi, May 09 2025 (ANI): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh conducted a high-level review at South Block with key the Defence Chiefs on May 09. CDS Anil Chauhan, Navy Chief Dinesh Tripathi, Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Defence Secy RK Singh was present in the meet. Meeting was held amid ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan following India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ against Pak-backed terror groups. A panicked Pakistan launched mortar shells and targeted innocent civilians in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab on May 8.
