Mumbai: The Government of India has announced the sale of two dated securities worth Rs 36000 crore to meet its borrowing requirements. The auction will take place on June 27, 2025, using the Reserve Bank of India’s e-Kuber system with the multiple price method.

The offering includes Rs 6000 crore of New GS 2028 and Rs 30000 crore of 6.33 percent GS 2035. Both competitive and non-competitive bidders can participate in the auction. The government may also retain an additional subscription of up to Rs 2000 crore for each security based on demand.

This move is a part of the government’s routine borrowing plan aimed at managing fiscal needs efficiently.
