Shreenath Paper Products Ltd said in an October 3, 2026 BSE filing that its subsidiary, Shreenath Paper Industries Private Limited (SPIPL), was already operating before it became a subsidiary. The company also outlined the accounting treatment for SPIPL following the increase in its equity holding.

SPIPL became a subsidiary with effect from September 24, 2026, after Shreenath Paper Products increased its shareholding from 50% to 75%. The latest disclosure provides further information on the subsidiary’s business and operational status following that acquisition.

The listed company, which trades on BSE under scrip code 544372, submitted the disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. It follows earlier filings covering SPIPL’s incorporation, approval for the share acquisition and completion of the transaction.

Subsidiary manufactures sublimation paper in Gujarat

SPIPL is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of sublimation paper. Its manufacturing facility is situated at Plot Nos. 3810 to 3821, near Super Gas Co., GIDC, Sarigam, Gujarat.

The company clarified that SPIPL had commenced business operations before September 24, when the higher shareholding made it a subsidiary. The filing therefore establishes that its operating business preceded the change in its ownership status.

The company referred to three earlier disclosures:

  • July 10, 2026: Disclosure regarding incorporation of SPIPL.
  • September 19, 2026: Disclosure regarding approval for acquisition of SPIPL equity shares.
  • September 24, 2026: Disclosure regarding completion of the equity share acquisition.

Financial consolidation starts from subsidiary date

Shreenath Paper Products said SPIPL’s financial information will be considered for inclusion in its consolidated financial statements from the date SPIPL became a subsidiary. That makes September 24, 2026 the relevant starting date for consolidation, rather than the earlier commencement of business operations.

The company said this treatment would follow applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. It will make the requisite disclosures concerning its consolidated financial results in accordance with the applicable provisions of the SEBI LODR Regulations.
