Indiabulls RBI Registration Granted as Core Investment Company; Applicability Under Review
Indiabulls has received RBI registration as a Core Investment Company, but says it will surrender the certificate if its applicability review finds it

Indiabulls RBI registration as a Core Investment Company has been granted, the company disclosed in a BSE filing dated October 2, 2026. The company also said it is evaluating the certificate’s applicability and will surrender it if it is found to be non-applicable.
The Reserve Bank of India granted the Certificate of Registration under the applicable provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act. In its disclosure on the approval’s relevance, Indiabulls Limited stated that the company has been registered as a Core Investment Company.
The filing therefore reports both the grant of registration and an ongoing assessment of whether the certificate applies to the company. It does not report that a surrender has already taken place.
Certificate surrender depends on applicability review
The company’s stated next step is conditional: the certificate will be surrendered if it is non-applicable. Indiabulls said this question is being evaluated, without providing a completion date for that assessment or a separate timetable for any potential surrender.
The accompanying regulatory disclosure identified the Reserve Bank of India as the licensing authority and set out the following particulars:
- The approval obtained is a Certificate of Registration as a Core Investment Company.
- The period for which the approval or licence is valid was marked “Not Applicable”.
- The section covering regulatory withdrawal, cancellation or suspension, including reasons, estimated impact and penalties, was marked “Not applicable”.
- The subsequent reporting requirement concerning actual impact and corrective actions following withdrawal, cancellation or suspension was also marked “Not applicable”.
Disclosure filed with BSE and NSE
Indiabulls submitted the intimation under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. It addressed the filing to BSE and the National Stock Exchange, identifying BSE scrip code 533520 and NSE symbol IBULLSLTD.
The company was formerly known as Yaari Digital Integrated Services Limited. Company Secretary Ram Mehar signed the disclosure, which also cited SEBI’s January 30, 2026 master circular for the accompanying particulars.
