The Gconnect name change proposal received board approval on October 3, 2026, alongside plans to shift the registered office to Maharashtra and increase authorised share capital. Gconnect Logitech and Supply Chain Ltd disclosed the decisions in a BSE filing following its board meeting that day.

The company, listed on BSE under scrip code 544156, proposed two alternative names: Sheth Eba Global Venture Limited or Sheth Eba Global Limited. The final name remains subject to availability and approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, approval from members and other applicable approvals.

The proposal also covers consequential changes to the relevant clauses of the company's Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association. The board's decision therefore represents approval of a proposed name change, with the remaining approvals still required.

Capital increase and registered office relocation

  • Authorised share capital: The board approved a proposed increase from Rs 4 crore to Rs 10 crore, together with alteration of the capital clause in the Memorandum of Association. This is subject to members' approval and other approvals required under applicable law.
  • Registered office: The company proposed shifting its registered office from Gujarat to Maharashtra. Its existing registered office is in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The move requires members' approval and applicable approvals from the Central Government/Regional Director and other statutory or regulatory authorities.

The board also approved the notice convening the forthcoming Annual General Meeting, together with the explanatory statement, to seek members' approval for the proposals wherever applicable.

Proposed objects cover metals and engineering

The board approved an alteration to the main objects clause of the Memorandum of Association, subject to necessary approvals. Five proposed subclauses would add activities covering ferrous and non-ferrous metals, steel and iron products, fabrication and engineering works.
