Axiscades Technologies: AXISCADES German Subsidiary Enters Liquidation as Group Exits Automotive
AXISCADES is closing loss-making German unit add-solution, ending its automotive engineering exposure. The company expects no material profitability impact.

AXISCADES German subsidiary add-solution GmbH has entered voluntary solvent liquidation, the company said in a BSE filing on October 5, 2026. The closure of the loss-making unit completes the group's exit from automotive engineering services following the recently completed transfer of its Automotive Engineering Services business.
The wholly owned step-down subsidiary, held through AXISCADES GmbH, provides automotive engineering design services from Wolfsburg. Its members adopted a special resolution on September 24, 2026, with dissolution effective September 25, 2026. The dissolution has been registered with the German Commercial Register office.
AXISCADES said weaker demand amid the downturn in Germany's automotive sector had led to losses for several consecutive quarters. The group chose liquidation after evaluating alternatives. The October 5 press release follows its exchange disclosure dated October 3, 2026.
Recurring losses underpin closure
The filing outlined the subsidiary's financial contribution and accumulated losses:
- FY26 turnover contribution of ₹15.62 crore, or 1.35% of consolidated turnover.
- Negative net worth of ₹14.37 crore as at March 31, 2026.
- A standalone PAT loss of ₹34.48 crore from FY25 through Q1FY27, with losses continuing.
AXISCADES said it does not expect the liquidation to have a material impact on its operations or profitability. It described the closure as removing a recurring drag on consolidated profitability and eliminating its remaining automotive engineering exposure.
The decision also supports management's focus on the company's Power 930 growth platforms: aerospace manufacturing, defence, XIDA and space. Group CFO Shashidhar SK described the move as a financially disciplined decision to address a non-core, loss-making exposure, supporting earnings quality and capital efficiency.
Solvent winding-up under German law
The company emphasised that the process is not an insolvency proceeding. A liquidator will realise assets, settle liabilities and complete the winding-up in accordance with applicable German law. No buyer or consideration is involved.
Any accounting effects will be recognised in the relevant reporting periods under applicable accounting standards. AXISCADES will inform stock exchanges of material developments as required by SEBI listing regulations.
The filing cautioned that the process and its financial effects remain subject to uncertainties, including asset realisation, settlement of liabilities and contracts, employee matters and German legal requirements.
