Petronet LNG Ltd said in a BSE filing dated October 2, 2026, that its board has approved the appointment of Sanjay Kumar as Managing Director and CEO, effective May 13, 2027. Kumar is Director (Marketing) at GAIL (India) Limited.

The approval sets out a future effective date for the leadership change. Petronet LNG specified May 13, 2027 as the date of vacancy from which Kumar’s appointment will take effect.
