Bandhan Bank management change: Bandhan Bank Ltd informed the exchanges in a BSE filing dated August 10, 2026, that Prakash E, its Chief of Internal Vigilance on an interim basis, has tendered his resignation due to personal reasons. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 and other applicable provisions of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.

Prakash E submitted his resignation through a letter dated August 10, 2026. According to the bank, he will continue in service in accordance with its policies, and his last working day will be November 7, 2026.

Interim appointment and transition

Prakash E had been serving as the bank’s Chief of Internal Vigilance on an interim basis with effect from February 24, 2026. His interim tenure had been set to continue until September 30, 2026, or until a new Chief of Internal Vigilance joined the bank, whichever occurred earlier.

In his resignation letter addressed to the Managing Director and CEO, Prakash E said the decision followed discussions concerning his resignation from the interim role. He also stated that he would complete his current responsibilities and assist with the handover process during the notice period to support a smooth transition.

Bank begins search for new vigilance chief

Bandhan Bank said it is in the process of appointing a new Chief of Internal Vigilance. The bank will inform the exchanges about the appointment in due course.

The disclosure was filed with BSE, where Bandhan Bank is listed under scrip code 541153, and with the National Stock Exchange of India, where it trades under the symbol BANDHANBNK. Company Secretary Indranil Banerjee signed the regulatory communication, which the bank said was also being uploaded to its website.
