Ashoka Buildcon Ltd has officially signed a contract with the Government of Guyana for the East Bank to East Coast Road Linkage Project, Phase 2. This major international contract is valued at 67.25 million dollars, approximately 562 crore rupees, and will be completed over a period of 18 months.
The agreement follows the company receiving a Letter of Acceptance from the Public Works Department of Guyana on June 18, 2025. The project will be executed under an item rate contract model.
This road linkage forms part of Guyana’s broader infrastructure development strategy aimed at enhancing connectivity between its major economic zones. With this win, Ashoka Buildcon continues to expand its presence in the international infrastructure market, particularly in road construction.
The company also clarified that there is no related party interest in this contract, and the deal does not fall under related party transactions.
As of 2:02 PM, shares of Ashoka Buildcon Ltd were trading at 202.40 rupees on the NSE, down 1.05 percent for the day, after hitting an intraday low of 198.22 rupees.
