IDFC First Bank Allots 4.89 Lakh Equity Shares Under ESOP Scheme
IDFC First Bank allotted 4,89,934 shares after employees exercised vested options, increasing its paid-up equity capital to ₹86,21,70,95,230.

IDFC First Bank ESOP share allotment: IDFC FIRST Bank Limited on August 21, 2026, approved the allotment of 4,89,934 fully paid-up equity shares to eligible employees, according to a filing submitted to BSE. The shares were issued following the exercise of stock options that had previously been granted and vested under the bank’s employee stock option scheme.
The duly authorised committee of the bank’s board of directors approved the allotment. Each allotted equity share has a face value of ₹10, the private-sector lender informed the stock exchanges.
New shares to rank equally with existing equity
The bank said the newly allotted shares will rank pari passu with its existing equity shares in all respects. This means the ESOP shares will carry the same rights and status as the equity shares already issued by the bank.
The allotment was made under the ‘IDFC FIRST Bank Limited – Employee Stock Option Scheme’, referred to in the filing as IDFC FIRST Bank – ESOS. The disclosure was filed under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended.

The revised capital comprises 8,62,17,09,523 fully paid-up equity shares of ₹10 each. The filing was signed by Satish Gaikwad, General Counsel and Company Secretary of IDFC FIRST Bank. The bank requested BSE and the National Stock Exchange of India to take the allotment on record.
